I started my insurance career in 1975 as a commercial underwriter for Crum & Forster. While I was there, C&F began automating Workers Compensation on its new mainframe computers. I had come to know exactly what works and what doesn't on the Internet. And one of the keys is that you cannot bring old programs forward and just give them an Internet screen.
